Family Art Workshop
Disconnect from technology and build a creative connection together at the monthly Family Art Workshop from St. Stephen Lutheran Church.
Individuals and families may come to this community workshop to enjoy the shared experience of creating a work of art.
Mrs. Niki Hilsabeck, our art director, is a Fallbrook artist who paints primarily with acrylic and pastel. She enjoys bringing art to others by teaching, demonstrating at events, and writing art lessons for various websites. Niki will offer a step-by-step lesson for people of all ages and skills. Just a beginner? You’ll learn the basics. More advanced? You’ll have room to work at a higher skill level.

Questions and Answers
How much does this event cost?
Just five bucks per family. We accept cash or check.
What kind of art projects will we make?
The art projects at St. Stephen Lutheran do not focus on specifically Christian themes or images, but our approach to art does reflect the Christian conviction that art and beauty are gifts of God and reflections of his grace.
Can I drop my kids off at the Family Art Workshop?
This program is intended not as a child-only event but something that allows parents and children to connect in a unique, creative way. For that reason we do not allow parents to leave children unattended at the Family Art Workshop. This is not a drop-off program.
Do I have to bring kids to participate?
Individuals of all ages are welcome to attend the workshop whether they have children or not.
Do I need to register to attend?
